I always did like the Toy Story movies. I’ve a special place in My heart for them, as most of My godchildren, nieces, and nephews loved them, and one of them came out around the time My son was born. Seeing this piece tugged at My heartstrings a little more than I thought it would, but it also placed a smile on My face as I’m sure it’s meant to.

The simple act of changing focus in any media is a means of drawing the viewer’s eye to a different point in the piece, either pulling it in or pushing it out, depending on where the artist wants the focal point to be. By placing the same picture side-by-side, each with a separate focal point, shows the artist’s skill in manipulating (yes, I said “manipulating”) the viewer’s field of vision all without changing the subjects within in the media itself.

The lighting within the print is soft, easy on the eyes, lending a nostalgic feel to everything, even when it is shining off of Buzz’ dome-like helmet.

This would be perfect for a child’s room or for a scrapbook to commemorate a moment in a child’s life.
