Absolutely stunning! The simple title doesn’t lead one on when it comes to this piece, doesn’t butter one up, or try to pull the wool over one’s eyes. It’s to the point, letting the beauty of the artist’s work speak for itself.

And speak it does. In volumes! The contrasting hot and cold colors of the two moons blend beautifully in the center without losing their vibrance or becoming dull and turning into a brown blob. The lightning bolts are balanced, not in number, but in brightness, making it easy for the eyes to shift between them without being overwhelmed by one or the other.

The water has a great horizon line, separating it from the land in the background and the sky without making it too much of a difference or drowning out anything with its intensity. The colors of the sky come all the way down to the water, pulling the entire picture together beautifully.

All in all, a wonderful fantasy piece, and one I would love to have on my own wall if the opportunity arose.
